Green Acres Adults Only Caravan Park - Accessibility Statement:
- Green Acres Caravan Park is situated 1 mile off the A689 and is clearly signposted from Junction 44. We cater for touring caravans, motor homes and camper vans only. We unfortunately cannot accommodate Fifth-Wheelers. Our postcode is CA6 4JW and our telephone number is: 0772 034 3820.
- There is space on all pitches to park a caravan or motorhome alongside 1 car
- Our rubbish and recycling point is situated next to the toilet block and is clearly signposted
- Free Wi-Fi is available on the park, the password can be found in your welcome pack
- Emergency numbers including CHOC and dentist are covered in The Cabin as well as local Taxi firm numbers
- Reception is open 7 days a week and is on the main driveway before the site
- The speed limit on the site is strictly 5mph
- The site is situated on a flat piece of land and is split into three sections
- The nearest train station is Carlisle which is approximately 5.6 miles away
- The site includes picnic benches for our guests to enjoy
- There is a dog walk which begins at the end of the second section, it leads to a wooded area before a public footpath
- The toilet block includes six unisex wet rooms including a disabled one, each wet room has inside a shower, toilet and sink. There is also a female toilet with two toilets and hairdryer and a male toilet with one cubicle and two urinals.
- The toilet block is clearly lit during night-time hours
- Located inside the toilet block there is also a washing up area.
- There is a laundry room which includes: 2 washing machines and 2 tumble dryers, clothes washing and drying comes at an extra charge and is coin operated.
- Parking or driving on the grass is not permitted.
- There are five fire points over the site that are clearly marked
- Houghton village is within walking distance, 1.7 miles, it has: a church, a convince shop, bus stop and a petrol station.
- The site includes 15 standard pitches which include: an all-weather surface, 10amp electric hook up, 23 serviced pitches which include: an all-weather surface, 16-amp electric hook up, water supply and grey water waste and 19 seasonal pitches.
- There are three water points on the first section of the site and two on the second section.
- The chemical disposal point is situated next to The Cabin and is for site guests only
